Nokia 3 Nokia 5 Nokia 3310 Specs Videos Images Price India Launch – Nokia has launched 3 new phones at the MWC going on in Barcelona – the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310. Nokia has also announced that the Nokia 6 will be launched globally in Q2 2017 (after April). All these smartphones will get the global launch in the coming months.

Nokia also shared a new jet black variant of the Nokia 6 which will cost Euro 299, while normal Nokia 6 black model will be priced at Euro 229.

Nokia has re-imagined and launched the Nokia 3310 on the popular demand from Nokia fans all over the world. Nokia announced that the Nokia 3 and 5 smartphones will come with the latest Os and they will continue to get new Android updates in future.

Let’s Look at the new Nokia smartphone line up in detail. Starting with the Nokia 5

Nokia 5

The Nokia 5 looks quite similar to the Nokia 6 and is made of same 6000 grade aluminum with premium and robust build quality. The front side has a 5.2 inch HD Display (1280*720) pixels and comes with 2.5 D curve glass. The Nokia brand name is visible at the front and back.

The display has 500 nits of maximum brightness and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and comes with just 2 GB of Ram.

The Nokia 5 runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS and has a 3000 mAH capacity battery.

The device is priced at Euro 189 or Rs 13,230. For the price the build and design is astonishingly good. The smartphone has a 13 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and there is also a selfie camera at the front with 8.0 Mega pixel resolution and auto-focus support.

The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot. The Nokia 5 has 8.05 mm of thickness and will be available in Blue , Black , Copper and Silver color variants.

The Nokia 3 looks different compared to both the elder siblings and come with a poly-carbonate build instead of aluminum. The front side has a 5.0 inch HD Display (1280*720) pixels and comes with 2.5 D curve glass. The Nokia brand name is visible at the front and back.

The display has 450 nits of maximum brightness and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass coating. The smartphone is powered by a Mediatek 6737 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor and comes with 2 GB of Ram.

The Nokia 3 runs on the latest Android Nougat 7.0 OS and has a 2650 mAH capacity battery.

The device is priced at Euro 139 or Rs 9750. The Nokia 3 comes with an 8 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and there is also a selfie camera at the front with 8.0 Mega pixel resolution and auto-focus support.

The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card slot. The Nokia 3 is slightly thicker and has 8.5 mm of thickness and will be available in Blue , Black , Copper White and Silver White color variants.

Nokia 3310

The classic Nokia 3310 is back with a more modern avatar. The feature phone is priced at Euro 49 or Rs. 3340. The Nokia 3310 comes in 4 different colors Red , Yellow, Blue and Silver.

The key highlight of the phone is it’s cute looks and a month long battery stand by. The re-imagined Nokia 3310 comes with a 2.4 inch polarized curve screen display.

The phone also comes with the classic Snakes game which was super addictive back in those days. The phone comes with beautiful push buttons and a 2 mega pixel rear camera. There is a headphone jack to listen to music and it will also come in a Dual Sim variant.

The phone will have support for 2G calling only, won’t work with JIO network. There is FM radio and 16 MB of internal storage but you can add a micro-sd card upto 32 GB.

The Nokia 3310 is a cute looking mobile which can be used as a secondary phone with no need for charging at least for 2 days.

Nokia 6 Arte Black Variant

Nokia also announced that a new Nokia Arte Black variant will be available at the global launch priced at Euro 299 or Rs. 21000 along with the normal black Color variant which is priced at Euro 229 or 16080.

The new Nokia Line up will be launched globally in the coming months and there was a video showing Indian Women Biker gang at the Nokia MWC presentation. That definitely shows that the brand is interested to go big on the Indian market.

After all India is a ray of hope in other wise saturated western markets.

India Launch Nokia 6, Nokia 5 , Nokia 3 And Nokia 3310 (June 2017)

PhoneArena was able to speak to the Ajey Mehta India VP of HMD Globlal, who was able to share some details about the possible time of India launch.

The smartphones will be made in India and will be manufactured by Foxconn for the Indian market. The devices are likely to hit the markets in June 2017 and will be available online as well as offline. Which means it will get launched on Flipkart or Amazon or both the e-commerce giants.

After sales service will be handled by HMD global which iwill set up Nokia service centers across India to provide best service to Nokia users.

Additionally, since the smartphones are made in India we can expect a lower price compared to the Euro prices shared above. It will be intriguing to see the relaunch of Nokia in Indian market.
